Here at Relic Road we are able to offer you services for Estate Sales, Liquidation and Home Clean Outs.  You've got a lot going on right now; a new place coming your way, loads of information, anticipation and expectation and questions about what you are going to do with all the items you and your family are ready to part with.  

Relic Road Estate Sales’ is here to help provide appropriate estate service recommendations to meet the goals of each client by getting to know the needs of the situation, educating clients about the different options and services, answering questions and assessing the contents of they home, followed up by providing a burden and stress-free plan of action to serve the needs and goals of the client.  

We understand that each situation is different, special and unique, requiring trust, respect, understanding and communication.  We want you to feel comfortable that your needs are being handled by professionals who sincerely care about helping guide you through this process.     

 

We offer a free 1hr consultation and here is what you can expect from our time together

  • We will spend a few minutes getting to know your needs and asking some questions about anticipated moving or selling dates, filling out our intake form 
  • We will ask you to take us on a tour through your home telling us about what you will be taking away with you when you move. 
  • We will need to look inside the cabinets, drawers and furniture to gain an understanding of the quantity and quality of the items that will remain after your move.  
  • We may take pictures as we go along the tour to help us have a reference point to refer to as we build a catered plan of action for the needs of your estate.  
  • We will answer any questions you may have and do our best to explain services.  
  • We will provide a recommended service plan usually within 24 hours if we are not able to do so onsite at the time of consultation.  

Our recommended service plan could include any of the following options:

  • All inclusive Estate Sale or Moving Sale event
  • Catered direct sales process
  • Home clean out or combo option 

Estate / Moving Sale Event-Top Option 

  • Most profitable and best for whole-home scenarios and includes removal of all remaining items (*hazardous material)
  • Determined by QUALITY and QUANTITY of what remAins 
  • Goal is to maximize profits AND clear all contents
  • Time Frame: typically 7-14 days to completion
  • Cost: 40% >10K or 60%<10K of net sales 

Catered direct sales process

  • Works best for homes with minimal but quality items and flexible timeline
  • Can include online sales, one day events, and on-site consignment options
  • Cost: 50%-60% of net sales

Clean out

  • $0 to $500 after estate sale event
  • single clean out job $$500-$5000 (if sellable items affect this final fee)
  • Truckload $400 per and/or labor fees at $50 per hour
  • Is best for getting the house realtor ready the quickest

Combo options

  • Works best for homes that need cleaning and clearing out of non-sellable items, but have sellable items on-site that can lessen labor costs

  • Often you also need Realtor services as well, but calling us first is important.  Here’s Why: You can’t sell a home unless you deal with what’s inside first. At Relic Road we will work alongside the Realtors to manage timing and needs.  Sometimes Realtors are not aware of all that goes on for an Estate Sale and this can be overwhelming to clients. If we can help you understand first what the goals are for the contents then the Realtor has just the house to handle, this can lead to lower costs for you. We feel it is in your very best interest and is less stressful.  An Estate Sale is the perfect free open house which often results in potential buyers because we market the house first before the realtor has even put a sign in the yard.
